New Initiatives Overview
This summer the Graduation with Civic Honors project will be hitting high gear with three new initiatives.
1) Expanding the current survey project
Right now an expansion of the Civic Honors Survey is being completed. The new survey will be sent out to a statistical sample of institutions of higher education. With an explicit goal of raising awareness about the Graduation with Civic Honors Project.
2) Completing another round of interviews
The first round of interviews was very successful with H. George Frederickson, Theda Skocpol, Peter Levine, Jean Bethke Elshtain, and Andrew R. Cline participating in the interview project. Hopefully the next round of interviews will be as successful as the first round which surpassed any expectations.
3) Working on a new media relations campaign
It has been suggests that one method of raising awareness about a project is to solicit media coverage. The Graduation with Civic Honors project is going to target working with mass media organizations to raise national awareness.
